Global Impact: Capetown, South Africa
In March 2013, Pastor Louis Scheepers had a vision for a church that would not only impact the city it would be located in, but that it would also spark into life other new church plants across South Africa. Pastor Louis and his wife, Yolandi, moved to Cape Town at the end of 2015 to begin forming a launch team for a new multi-site, multi-lingual, and multi-ethnic church called Pro Deo. Mosaic Christian Church had the opportunity to be part of the launch team in 2017, handing out invite cards through creative and unique outlets, developing curriculum for Kidz Church, casting vision in the surrounding communities, and more. This year's team will be focused on assisting Pro Deo with continued sustainability and growth.
Cape Town is a highly relational trip- team members should possess a heart for diverse cultures, the local church, starting conversations with strangers, and flexibility.

Support Raising Required
All team members are responsible for raising support for their trip.
Passport Required
All team members are required to have a valid passport, the passport must be valid for six months prior to your trip dates. If you do not currently have a passport and are accepted to a team, you will be required to apply for one before your first team training.
Immunizations
Team Members are responsible for getting the suggested immunizations recommended by the CDC
Social Media Policy Required

Prerequisites
- Application & Interview
- Must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity left beyond trip dates.
- If you currently do not have a passport, upon being accepted to the team you must apply for a passport prior to your first team training
- Pay the $175 team commitment fee by 1st team training
Responsibilities
- Team Members must raise support
- Team Members must abide by the team member contract
- Planning and leading presentations on topics that will be given to you by leaders and partnership.
