Creating Magical Holidays for Staff of Mt. Clare Christian School

Join us at Mt. Clare Christian School as we help teachers provide special Christmas celebrations for their families!

Mt. Clare Christian School (MCCS) is a ministry of Wilkens Avenue Mennonite Church, located in Southwest Baltimore.  In a neighborhood which has been stripped of many positive resources and is often known instead for its negatives, the school works to shine the Light of Jesus Christ to help students to achieve to their maximum potential academically and become leaders who will play an active role in restoring their community.

The staff at MCCS work for significantly lower wages than similar positions to help keep the school's tuition accessible for the families in the MCCS neighborhood. This event will help provide teachers with gift baskets and personalized notes of encouragement to thank them for their investment in their students, and gift cards to help them provide Christmas presents for their families.
