Join us at Mt. Clare Christian School as we prepare the school for the upcoming school year!
Mt. Clare Christian School (MCCS) is a ministry of Wilkens Avenue Mennonite Church, located in Southwest Baltimore. In a neighborhood which has been stripped of many positive resources and is often known instead for its negatives, the school works to shine the Light of Jesus Christ to help students to achieve to their maximum potential academically and become leaders who will play an active role in restoring their community.
Students at MCCS follow a personalized curriculum that requires them to complete most work independently at their desks. This event will help to clean up the desks and replace old cork boards and desk dividers so students have a welcoming learning environment this school year.

Prerequisites
- Prefer prior handyman or home improvement skills
Responsibilities
- Classroom desks, dividers and bulletin board repairs
Restrictions
- Must be ages 12 & up to participate
- You are welcome to bring your children with you, however you will be responsible for caring for them during the event.
