Meal Packing at The Maryland Food Bank

We will support the MD Food Bank by bagging and flash-freezing meals in their community kitchen. Help the Maryland Food Bank prepare in serving the hungry MD. Children 12 and over are welcome; each child mush be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes. The temperature in the prep room is 55 degrees, so we suggest you bring a jacket or sweatshirt.  We look forward to seeing you there!

The Maryland Food Bank is a nonprofit hunger-relief organization, leading the movement to end hunger throughout Maryland. For more than 35 years, the Maryland Food Bank has partnered with communities across the state to distribute food to individuals and families in need becoming the leading anti-hunger organization in the state. Through carefully crafted programs, the food bank aims to meet the immediate needs of Marylanders while simultaneously working to find long-term ways to reduce hunger statewide. Currently distributing more than 102,000 meals per day — more than 37 million meals annually — the Maryland Food Bank will continue to expand its efforts until hunger ends.
