Courtyard Clean Up at Mt. Clare Christian School

Join us at Mt. Clare Christian School as we prepare the outside play area for the upcoming school year!

Mt. Clare Christian School (MCCS) is a ministry of Wilkens Avenue Mennonite Church, located in Southwest Baltimore.  In a neighborhood which has been stripped of many positive resources and is often known instead for its negatives, the school works to shine the Light of Jesus Christ to help students to achieve to their maximum potential academically and become leaders who will play an active role in restoring their community.

MCCS has a courtyard that serves as an outdoor eating and play area for students. This event will ensure that this is a safe and welcoming space for students by removing trash and weeding, mulching, and planting flowers in the gardens. Volunteers will install safety signs on school property near street and pick up trash in the surrounding street.
