Back to School Breakfast for teachers at Mt. Clare Christian School

Join us at Mt Clare Christian School as we welcome the teachers to the new school year!
The staff at MCCS work for significantly lower wages than similar positions to help keep the school's tuition accessible for the families in the neighborhood. Teachers are returning to work, so this event will provide and serve a welcoming breakfast and lunch on their first day of work. Volunteers will have the opportunity to sign up to contribute items, deliver the food to the school, and set up the food for the event. The set up will conclude around 9 am and is family friendly!
Mt. Clare Christian School (MCCS) is a ministry of Wilkens Avenue Mennonite Church, located in Southwest Baltimore. In a neighborhood which has been stripped of many positive resources and is often known instead for its negatives, the school works to shine the Light of Jesus Christ to help students to achieve to their maximum potential academically and become leaders who will play an active role in restoring their community.

- Cooking and/or purchasing breakfast and lunch items for 8 staff members. Drop off and set up. Please let me know of any ideas you have to provide some great food for some even greater people.
