Stockings for Students of Mt. Clare Christian School - EVENT FULL

Join us for this family-friendly (all ages) event as we write personalized notes to each of the 40 students attending Mt. Clare Christian School to encourage them to do their best. We will also decorate and assemble stockings for each student, filled with treats and fun surprises. Many students come from underprivileged households and face significant barriers to their education, so this individualized attention will be very encouraging!

Mt. Clare Christian School (MCCS) is a ministry of Wilkens Avenue Mennonite Church, located in Southwest Baltimore. In a neighborhood which has been stripped of many positive resources and is often known instead for its negatives, the school works to shine the Light of Jesus Christ to help students to achieve to their maximum potential academically and become leaders who will play an active role in restoring their community.
