I love trees, gotta admit it. And I love the Lord who made the trees, so it’s all good. When my daughter showed me the trees at The Children’s Home, I said ‘these need help!’ So I agreed to be the host of this part of the project. I didn’t count the trees, but there are probably 20 at least. The trees were planted properly several years ago, but over time soil and mulch have mounded around the trunks. Eventually, this will weaken and kill the trees. I’d like to help the trees along by fixing the problem by simply removing soil and mulch from the base of the trees. We’ll also do some simple pruning - removing dead branches and eliminating crossing branches. Imagine how beautiful these trees will be in 10 years with our help! Perhaps the residents of The Children’s Home will find comfort and shelter under these trees.
