Join us at Mt. Clare Christian School as we prepare the building for the new school year!
Mt. Clare Christian School (MCCS) is a ministry of Wilkens Avenue Mennonite Church, located in Southwest Baltimore. In a neighborhood which has been stripped of many positive resources and is often known instead for its negatives, the school works to shine the Light of Jesus Christ to help students to achieve to their maximum potential academically and become leaders who will play an active role in restoring their community.
MCCS has no maintenance staff. Skilled volunteers will patch and paint small areas of wall throughout the building that have been damaged during the last school year.
All ages welcome to attend, must be over the age of 12 to volunteer, please register your children by adding them to your service reef account - a how to guide for adding your children can be found at mosaicchristian.org/impactweek

Requirements
Responsibilities
- We will be spackling and painting walls. You'll need to wear the t-shirt provided and pants and shoes that you won't mind getting paint on. If you haven't spackled or painted before, don't worry I will provide instruction.
Restrictions
- We'd prefer that the volunteers be at least 12 years old, however, you may bring along younger children if you need to.
